What’s a typical day as an Assembly/Braze Specialist? You’ll be:

  • Performing pre-operation checks for machines and work area to ensure safety.
  • Assembling conical bit bodies, braze material, and carbide tips.
  • Operating braze line, press, and clipper or pack station at optimal levels.
  • Inspecting parts to meet established ISO requirements.
  • Supporting functions and change-overs to meet established due dates.
  • Tracking and problem-solving materials used and efficient equipment use to reduce costs.
  • Managing work-in-progress (WIP) and components inventory.
  • Participating in lean events and utilizing lean processes in daily duties.
  • Performing daily required TPM on associated equipment.
  • Performing daily required 5S activities for work area.
  • Gathering and posting established metrics.
  • Accurately and timely recording required data.
