Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items for customers
- Provide product information and assist with product selection
- Upsell additional products or services to customers
- Conduct product demonstrations when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or sales experience preferred
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
