AS SHIFT MANAGER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Leading Crew by Example in Following & Enforcing the Expectations of the Organization. Supervising Crew Members in Position as Scheduled, and Meeting your Own Deadlines as Expected. Supervising Crew Members in Training and Following the Proper Processes to Ensure the Correct and Responsible Procedures are Carried Out. Ensuring Your Team Serves Quality Food and Accurate Orders During Your Shift. Ensuring Your Team Meets Time Targets and Operational Goals During Your Shift. Ensuring Your Team Maintains Cleanliness while Working and Completes Scheduled Cleaning Tasks. Ensuring Paper Goods, Menu Products & Supplies are Well Stocked, Organized and the Equipment is Well Maintained as Needed During Your Shift. PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN THE QSR INDUSTRY IS REQUIRED, BUT IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO BE McDONALD'S. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING: The Shift Manager is a position of trust who is responsible for guarding the profitability of the restaurant at all times and needs to be capable of taking direction from the General Manager and have the initiative to carry out the directions with integrity. The Shift Manager works alongside the Production Manager and will need to be a strong communicator capable of encouraging the Crew they are leading to hit the Targets that have been set for the shift that day. They are also willing to be fair and firm to hold crew accountable to working as a team and correcting those who do not so that the Crew can remain strong, and morale can remain high. The Shift Manager works alongside their fellow Managers, communicates in Company logs, attends meetings as asked and carries out their duties in a timely manner and represents themselves in a professional manner.
