THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING: The Shift Manager is a position of trust who is responsible for guarding the profitability of the restaurant at all times and needs to be capable of taking direction from the General Manager and have the initiative to carry out the directions with integrity. The Shift Manager works alongside the Production Manager and will need to be a strong communicator capable of encouraging the Crew they are leading to hit the Targets that have been set for the shift that day. They are also willing to be fair and firm to hold crew accountable to working as a team and correcting those who do not so that the Crew can remain strong, and morale can remain high. The Shift Manager works alongside their fellow Managers, communicates in Company logs, attends meetings as asked and carries out their duties in a timely manner and represents themselves in a professional manner.
