Work you will do/Responsibilities
- Consult clients and consulting teams on most relevant tools/techniques to solve client issues and exceed client requirements
- Deliver solutions in accordance with service level agreements
- Organize, and maintain goals established for systems/network project deliverables
- Demonstrate accountability to successfully realize client goals
- Plan and track deliverables on short term sprints, and long-term server deployments

The US Core Industry Solutions Offering encompasses industry vertical, sector specific solutions that leverage distinct technologies to drive operational change and automate the core our client’s business. We incorporate expertise from across the firm to leverage common approaches, best practices, and strategic investments to scale these solutions according to industry strategy. Core Industry Solutions will be known in the market for a focus on transforming industry operations through industry technology solutions.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- AWS Engineer/Windows SysAdmin to be part of the GPS Cloud Managed Services team. Overall 3-5 years of experience with at least 3 years of Linux experience. Hands on experience with AWS and Windows OS Administration required. Install, configure, automate and monitor various Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Setup High Availability and DR environments in AWS. Willing to take on Production Support.
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining virtualization systems such as VMWare VSphere
- Administration skills specific to system upgrades, maintenance, server tuning and hypervisor server hardening
- Exposure and knowledge of DNS (Domain Name System)
- Exposure to Redhat Linux and AWS Cloud environments
- Experience working in a Linux and AWS Cloud environment
- Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs.
- CompTia Security+ and MS Windows certification is required
- Ability to travel a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel
- Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations.
Preferred Skills
- Other Cloud providers (nice to have).
- Linux Administration experience preferred.
- Experience with DevOps/Automation tools including AWS CloudFormation and Terraform preferred.
- Experience with previous Cloud Migrations is a plus.
- Experience with Security: IAM, Active Directory, MFA, McAfee AV, Tenable/Nessus, TrendMicro, Splunk, STIG Hardening preferred.
